What actually happens in your building.
Five steps, and then it works. You do not need to understand any of it.
A thin cable, about as thick as a phone charger lead, is run along the skirting board or the ceiling into the rooms you pick.
Each of those rooms gets a flat white unit, roughly the size of a light switch. In the wall or on the ceiling.
That unit needs no power socket. The power travels down the same cable.
Your Wi-Fi keeps one name. Walk from the consulting room to the stockroom and your phone follows without dropping out.
For an average office it is half a day of work. No wall has to be opened up.
The industry term for this is FTTR, fibre to the room. You will meet the term further down this site. This is what it means.

Video calls drop out
The connection gives up in the one call with a client that mattered. Unprofessional and infuriating.
Dead spot at the back
The meeting room or the stockroom barely has signal. Thick brickwork blocks it.
Guest network collapses
The moment it gets busy, the Wi-Fi chokes. Your card terminal and till should never stutter.

You have one room up to about 80 m² without thick walls
Then a single good access point is enough and you are a few hundred euros better off. We will sell you that instead, from the same catalogue.
You are refurbishing anyway and the walls are open
Run network cable. It is technically better, the material is cheaper and it lasts longer. It would be a shame to waste the opportunity.
A cable does have to run through your building
Tucked along skirting or ceiling, but between rooms this is not a wireless solution. In a listed building we look at the route with you beforehand.
It is a single vendor
The central unit and the room units have to come from the same family. You cannot slot another brand in between. Choosing this means choosing Huawei.
